Brand lettering and type design for the corporate identity developed by Clase for the Arts Santa Mònica arts and cultural center in Barcelona. We developed the typeface specifically to address the needs and characteristics of the graphic system that defines the new identity. The type's stand-out feature is how it combines a "normal" style with an underscore variation that strongly reinforces brand awareness and recognition. This derives from the defining characteristic of the wordmark, an underscore that emphasizes the absence of the four A's composing the symbol. This underlined version allows for a quick and effective implementation of the corporate identity. The monospaced typeface combines different contemporary typographic standards to evoke a clean, industrial aesthetic.
