Batín* is one of the typefaces we created under the concept of the "organic module" with the aim of teaching typographic design. The decomposition and organization of the work flow under a linear criteria allows distill a methodology that together with some optical and formal keys show that the architectural concept (or the concept of the logic that prevents mistakes). This idea is valid to build a typeface, and especially to teach how to do it. And Batín was also a pleasure, the occasion to mix typographic design and page design, to experience how that process and methodology, interact organically with image and compositional tension.
