Licensing options

All of our typefaces are offered in 5 different licensing options. Desktop, Webfont, ePub, App and Server, all of them compatible and combinable with each other. However, larger licensing fees are available, if none of our current options fits your needs, please do not hesitate to contact us. Besides this, the special broadcasting license is available, consisting of additional licensing options for using the font software in TV broadcasting, film credits or any onscreen application. Last but not least, we offer a corporate license, a perpetual and unlimited combination of all of our licenses, including customised name and font embedding permissions.

Web fonts
The web fonts are self-hosted, that means that you host the fonts on your own server. The web fonts are provided in following formats: WOFF, Woff2 and EOT, in case you need them in TTF, just contact us at info@extratype.com. 

Upgrade font license
After the purchase of any font family or single style, you can upgrade your license options in your order history. You can increase your current option or add new kinds of license. The main thing with upgrades is that you can benefit from our multi-user discount tables and Combo discount (50% off) as if you are choosing the licenses at the same time. You can also upgrade your font license by email, please contact us.

Refunds
Downloaded fonts cannot be exchanged or refunded. If there is a problem with your order, let us know, and we will try to fix the situation as soon as we can.

Taxes and VAT
All the indicated prices on the site exclude taxes, these are payable only by Spanish customers (IVA) and Non-VAT registered customers from the European Union. If you have a valid VAT number you can enter it in the account settings or at the checkout and taxes will not be charged. 

Payment options
PayPal securely processes payments for Extratype. There is no need to have a PayPal account, you can pay with your credit card or debit card. For bank transfers, please contact us.

Font delivery
You will get your fonts immediately after the payment. You can get your fonts at that point, or anytime on your order history. Moreover, a download link is sent to your email address as well. 

License owner
During the buying process, you can decide for whom the license is, a special field on the cart options is enabled for this purpose. If in the future, you want to purchase again the same product but for another owner, you can easily add the name of the new license in the checkout process.

Custom
If you require some custom work or modifications on our fonts, such as a new weight, alternative characters or extra alphabets, please do not hesitate to contact us.
